He received his formative education at the prestigious Don Bosco School, Siliguri, and later earned his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the esteemed Delhi University. As the youngest brother of Lion Krishna Kumar Gupta—the visionary Charter President and founder—Lion Jyoti hails from a distinguished lineage devoted to the ideals of Lionism. His family’s unwavering commitment to service is further exemplified by his brothers, all proud Lions, and his eldest sister-in-law, Lion Seema Gupta, who serves as the Charter President of the Lions Club of Sonapur Divas.
A spirited sportsman and ardent lover of athletics, Lion Jyoti brings the same vigor and discipline from the field into his life of service. His association with Lionism began as a Charter Member of the Leo Club of Sonapur in 2004, and in 2008, he joined the Lions Club of Sonapur as its youngest member—ushering in a new wave of youthful energy and creative dynamism. Known for his tireless dedication, keen eye for detail, and infectious enthusiasm, he has consistently played a pivotal role in supporting the leadership teams of his club, becoming an indispensable asset to its operations.

With a deep passion for learning and personal growth, he has completed numerous district-level training programs and has embraced various significant leadership roles, including Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, District Chairman, GMT Coordinator, GLT Coordinator, and LCIF Coordinator.
